Chagdud Gonpa Foundation

H.E. Chagdud Tulku RinpocheChagdud Gonpa Foundation is an international Nyingma Buddhist organization, founded in 1983 by H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche (1930-2002), a highly revered meditation master, artist and Tibetan physician who taught extensively in the East and West. Through its many activities, which include offering public teachings and retreats, translating, and publishing texts, Chagdud Gonpa Foundation upholds and preserves the arts, philosophy, and meditation practices of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism.

Chagdud Gonpa teachers—Lama Drimed Norbu, Tulku Jigme Rinpoche, and other lamas appointed by Chagdud Rinpoche—work to carry out Chagdud Rinpoche’s intention to provide guidance for students on the spiritual path.

The Directory of Centers provides contact information for Chagdud Gonpa lamas, centers, and practice groups.

The Events page provides practice and teaching schedules for each North American Chagdud Gonpa center and practice group.

Padma Publishing includes a book list from the publishing arm of Chagdud Gonpa, and a description of our Translation Project.

Tibetan Treasures offers many dharma items you can order: books, videos & tapes, clothing, photos, imports, and much more.
